There are some good ones here, and the top 5 are in the right places, but i am not sure about the rest, what do you think?
- American Football – starting in 1869 by the National College league.
- Baseball – one of the largest sports in America, if not the largest ranging from little leagues to, Umm, the big ones.
- Basketball – over 300 million people play world wide and America started the NBA.
- Hockey – A great Sport in America, but bigger in other countries, it is still huge.
- Golf – It doesn’t take much to realise where the boom happened, it was Mr Woods.
- Wrestling – A huge sport, many Americans tune in to watch this.
- Tennis – Americans have always played very good tennis, coming to Wimbledon and winning many trophies.
- Skateboarding – Definitely one of the fastest growing sports in the world, with the help of America.
- Surfing – Was really brought to the world by America.
- Ice Skating – A Bigger sport in America than you may have originally thought.
- Boxing – Immense, probably my favourite, but needs a bit more TV time.
- Soccer – Slowly becoming a big sport, with names like David Beckham coming in.
- Archery – this isn’t you average sport, but it is a sport, and Archery is something the Americans are great at.
- Volleyball – Great fun for everyone, especially those watching.
- Cycling – Has been in the sport world for a while now, and has taken off, but not as much as others.
- Track and Field – This is a great set of sports, culminated into one, and the Americans excel at it.
- Horse Racing – A great sport, loved by all mainly for betting, but the riders do well to.
- Rock Climbing – An American Past Time, although not as much as other activities, this is tried by a lot of people.
- Extreme Sports – The Americans love this, especially when things go wrong, not sure why though.
- Auto Racing – This is hard to Rank, but it is different from State to State.
