I have taken part in many jobs during my life so far and I have to say that I am really not that old yet and working on a golf course was one of the most interesting jobs I have had so far. The raking of over 150 bunkers is a pretty big task and it takes all morning for two people to do it, you do get to meet a few people. You are able to get to know the course a lot more and you kind of have respect for it more than anything.

Most of the people that I met during the work were of course golfers but they were always complimenting the course and it is great to hear that when you are working on it all of the time. Once the morning shift had been done we would head back into the room and have a nice lunch for free. The choices were pretty much endless when it comes to the things I could have, more often than not it was a full English for me.

Working on a golf course is not what people usually think it is.
